Did you know that in 19th century Europe, profiteers sought out pet stealing as a means for economic gain and therefore hold pets hostages demanding for ransom?

History of pets can be divided into different ages such as prehistoric, historic and modern.

The prehistoric dates back 12,000 years ago.

Historic times had it that Ancient Greeks and Romans went as far as grieving openly for the loss of a dog 🐶 as evidenced by tomb stone inscriptions and ancient Egypt particularly had a habit of keeping animals which were buried along with their owners after their demise 😲
